How to Help Your Overweight Wife Lose Weight Safely.

Clear out the  junk food and buy plenty of fruits and veggies. Don’t bring home fast food.  Five servings of fruits and veggies will help your wife to lose weight safely and get healthy.   Replace white bread with whole wheat; drink water or low fat milk instead of sugary sodas or juice.  Help her prepare a healthy breakfast every day.

Exercise with her.  Help her find activities she will enjoy.  Some ideas are hiking, cycling and dancing.  Encourage (and model) sneaking exercise into her routine for example walking to the grocery, use the stairs instead of the elevator, turn off the TV and dance instead, take a stroll in your neighborhood.  If you have children offer to take care of them while she exercises or get them involved with you.  Work up to 30 minutes of exercise a day and then add a few minutes each week.
